The Gourmand Awards for Food Culture
You are participating in the Gourmand Awards
All FOOD CONTENT can be entered in the Gourmand Awards. It is free and open to all. Entries can be sent by anyone, big or small, institutions or private, print or digital, with recipes or no recipes, for sale or free, with or without ISBN. You are welcome.
Inspired by the Olympic spirit
This year 205 countries participate, the same as the Olympics, and more than the United Nations. It is the biggest event for Food Culture, and it is the biggest for books.
The process is the same as the Olympics. First the participants have to have satisfied a quality level, which you have. Second, there are country competitions and the winners are qualified to participate in the world competition. Last, the Best in the World are announced at the World event, which travels across continents.
There are 70 categories, giving a real chance to all, like in the Olympics, with over 40 countries on the podium at our last event, in Beijing, China.
Save the Dates
December 2014- Confirmation of the participation, notification by personal emails.
January 2015 - Winners by countries are notified by personal emails. They qualify for the Best in the World Competition.
February 2015 - The information is posted on the cookbookfair website
June 8-12, 2015 - Yantai, China - Best in the World Gourmand Awards.
October 14- 18, 2015. Frankfurt Book Fair- New food publishing international business hub.
Autumn 2015- 20 years celebration of the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards. The Best of the Best awards, for past Best in the World winners
2016 - The Gourmand World Cookbook Awards, in Europe
